ABOUT US
Sissymeme Couture is a bespoke womenswear label founded by Nigerian-born designer Isimeme Mary Omole (Sisi). Her tailoring journey began during her undergraduate days while studying Estate Management at Obafemi Awolowo University, where her struggle to find perfectly fitting clothes as a petite woman inspired her to learn how to sew. She quickly turned that challenge into a skill, she taught her self to sew, first learning to tailor her own clothes during long university strikes in Nigeria, trained under mentors and simply transformed a necessity into an enduring passion.
Since founding Sissymeme Couture, Sisi has trained aspiring fashion professionals through Sissymeme Fashion Academy and gained a reputation for creating elegant, structured designs that celebrate confidence and femininity.
After a purposeful three-year break to focus on family and study at the London College of Fashion, Sisi returns with a renewed vision, blending global insight with African excellence.
